@SuperDupont Yes, I didn't understand what safe mode meant. Perhaps it would be easier to understand to change the security mode directly to network selection.
@fyvV...eg6v The thing is that you have a tooltip in the cross-out pop-up:
"The exchange currently does not support any form of token deposit via cross-chain, and KSM does not support any direct transfer for token deposit. To ensure the safety of your assets we will automatically turn on safe mode under circumstances to ensure the safety of your assets. If you have a good understanding of what you are doing, you can also manually turn off safe mode and continue to complete your operation, please make sure you are responsible for your own actions".
-> It's pretty clear.
You also have these warnings on wiki.bifrost.finance, and on our FAQ in Telegram and Discord.
This warning exists on other parachains, this is something known in the ecosystem. And safe mode like the one on Bifrost is there to prevent such wrong operations to happen.
In doubts, better to ask on our social media before doing any tx, we are always here to reply and tell you what to do in your best interest.
So what is this proposal about ?
I mean Bifrost has not to pay for users doing mistakes on their own responsability unfortunately.
The better is to see with Binance support, they can retrieve your funds, it's just a matter of their will in the end.
@SuperDupont I admit it was my fault, but I did not realize that the security warning was due to the wrong network when I transferred the money.
This transfer has caused me a huge loss and I hope to be helped.
I also contacted Binance, but binance did not promise to help me get it back.

@fyvV...eg6v I know that's a pretty consequent amount of KSM. I perfectly understand why you are trying to recover your funds.
I just know that sometimes CEX can recover transfered funds. But it's on their side. Try to insist with Binance. I also heard that sometimes CEX ask you to pay like 50-100$ to perform the operation (!!!).
Try everything you can with Binance support.

I guess your request was to make Bifrost reimburse your lost funds, so yes it would cost 2490 KSM to the project for something he's not responsible for.
@SuperDupont Binance only supports BEP20 and KSM networks, they won't help me recover the assets of the BNC network.

我之前一直在Karura网络质押KSM,后来发现了Bifrost团队开发项目,感觉做的不错,于是把我的资产跨链到了BNC。这里我要提一下,Karura 的app在转账时,如果输入的是其他网络的地址,是会有错误提示,并且不能转账的,因此我没有在Karura网络中损失过任何资产。
当BNC app中质押的过程中,我获得了一些BNC代币奖励,我将BNC代币充值到KuCoin和MEXC出售,
这两个交易所是支持充值BNC的,当然也只有BNC网络,但是当我将交易所充值地址填入转账地址后,我留意到了下面的安全模式开关,这时的开关是默认关闭的,为了安全起见,我尝试打开了开关,但是此时就会提示错误,地址输入框会变红色,不能转账,于是我只好又将开关关闭,并且成功的发送了代币,交易所充值成功了。
正因为有了这次经历,让我认为安全模式可能是一个对我无用的功能。这也直接造成了之后转账KSM时,毫无戒备的关闭了安全模式,选择了直接转账。
在BNC质押了一段事件后,我决定卖掉我的KSM代币,我在币安充值地址网络选择时还选择了KSM网络,因为发送的是KSM代币,我完全没有意识到当前发送网络是BNC,这是我犯得最大的错误,虽然这时安全模式开关是默认打开的,但是我像给其他交易所转BNC一样,选择关闭了安全模式,结果造成了这么巨大的损失。
如果只是一些小额资产,我就认倒霉了,我绝对不会来给你们添麻烦的,但是这笔钱对我太巨大了,我损失不起...
我第一时间联系了币安客服,但是客服给我的答复是他们只会尝试找回他们支持的网络代币,对于他们不支持的网络,他们甚至都不愿意尝试。我在走投无路的情况下,才想办法联系到了BNC团队,感谢
Lurpis Wang 和 Yancy Zheng 帮我发起了这个公投,让我看到了一丝希望,我只想拿回我错误转出的代币,不想对团队造成任何伤害或者损失,要是有什么损失,我愿意补偿。

If this is just a matter of trying to recover your funds (and not compensate the possible loss), then I'm OK of course.
I also don't understand why you didn't try to explain your case on Telegram or on Discord, the community would have been pleased to understand your case and why there is this referendum.
Just reading it (it's not detailed) i had understood you wanted compensation for your initial mistake.
