#666·Renew Bifrost Kusama Collators 180-day reward to prepare for bridge of Bifrost Kusama <> Bifrost Polkadot

TL,DR

Due to exhaustion of Collator BNC rewards on Bifrost-Kusama, the purpose of this proposal is to:

1. Extend the reward time of Bifrost-Kusama's Collator BNC for 180 days.
2. Supplement the corresponding amount of Collator BNC rewards: 400,000 BNC

Summary

Bifrost network reserved 5% (4,000,000 BNC) of total issurance to incentivize Collator mechanism for 5 years (800,000 BNC/year), with no inflation. On Bifrost-Kusama front, since Bifrost’s orginal roadmap was to migrate from Bifrost-Kusama to Bifrost Polkadot, so we used to reserve Bifrost-Kusama with BNC incentive for one year.

At present, it’s been a year time, so this proposal is to extend the rewarding time for extra 180 days with 400,000 BNC, and it will still remain the emission rate of 180 BNC/Round (each round takes 600 blocks, each block takes approx. 12s).

Next Step

We are expecting the live of Kusama-Polkadot bridge solution for a long time, if it happens in the next 180 days, Bifrost core dev team will demonstrate the details of migration from Bifrost-Kusama to Bifrost-Polkadot, which will also determine and discuss if collator reward will still remain on Bifrost-Kusama or migrate to Bifrost-Polkadot.
